Four Performing Arts Students Nominated for Cappie Awards

Three Foxcroft actors and the show’s costume designer have been nominated for Cappie Awards for their roles in Foxcroft’s production of The Hamilton Conspiracies.

Nominees include Elise L. ’26 for “Featured Actor in a Female Role in a Play,” Anna C. ’25 for “Comic Actor in a Male Role in a Play,” and Emmy Q. ’24 for “Supporting Actor in a Female Role in a Play,” along with Aradeal H. ’26 for the play’s costumes. The results will be announced during the upcoming Blue Ridge Cappies Gala at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, VA, Wednesday, May 22 at 7pm. All are welcome to attend and tickets may be purchased from the Hylton Center Box Office.
 
The Hamilton Conspiracies cast members Anna C. ’25, Moriah F. ’24, Ava B. ’24, Emmy Q. ’24, Anila S. ’25, Ava D. ’26, Elise L. ’26, Madison B. ’24, Maddie B. ’26, Anais P. ’26, and Katarina S. ’26, along with tech team members Manabi K. ’25 (Lead Cappies Critic for Foxcroft, who will also present an award), Lauren G. ’26, Elise R. ’25, and AnnaMaria C. ’25 will perform the play’s opening scene as part of the Gala’s programming. 

The Blue Ridge Cappies Gala closes the year with glamour and excitement, showcasing the best of high school theater. The Cappies is a writing and awards program that trains high school theater and journalism students to be expert writers, critical thinkers, and leaders. Theater and journalism students are trained as critics and attend each other's shows.
